Now this is a table worth playing a boisterous game of GO FISH at!
Considered to be the greatest games table, the circa 1865 Albemarle Club games table is without a doubt the best of the best. Made specifically for the legendary Albemarle Club of London, the table is crafted from the finest Cuban mahogany and satinwood inlays.
The center of the table has a unique key mechanism with a series of locks opened only by a distinctively made set of custom brass keys. Along with a master key, there are six individual keys that correspond to specific drawers surrounding the sides of the table. Each drawer contains individual game pieces used to play a variety of games such as backgammon, dominos, chess, cribbage and so on.
Famed literary figure Oscar Wilde is said to have played at the table. Sitting at the table I’m certain you can almost hear Mr. Wilde say, “Give me all your 8’s!” Go Fish!
